36" x 48" @ 300ppi; RGB. Digital Painting. I got the idea for this piece from an iPhone app called "Percolate" that interprets photos as rings and circles. I did not start with a photo for this. I just started laying out the circles on a gray field, beginning with the largest and working to smaller and smaller circles (smallest is about 0.2").
I like the color version, but this black and white version appeals to me as well. I like the simplicity of the presentation.
