I wanted to do a more refined version of this piece. I wanted it darker, broodier (is that a word?), and with cleaner edges. This is what I came up with. As I created this, I was running on fumes - after two days of very little sleep. Maybe that played a part in the work?
This is also a much larger work than I have been doing. The uploaded image is only about 50% of the original dimensions. The original is about 35"x55" (and one BIG file!). I managed to crash Photoshop about a dozen times before I finished it.
